Greetings! I feel so honored and privileged to be your president for the 25-26 year! My goodness, time seems to be just flying by, we are in another legislative year and I am certain there will be changes that all of us will have to endure. If you have never made the trip to visit the capital of Texas during a legislative session, I encourage you to do so before this one ends. It is so very important for all of us to use our voices to educate not only the taxpayer but our senators and representatives as well.

We had such a wonderful conference this year and I would personally like to thank all of our executive board, our past president Debi Sevcik , Collette Ballinger and Cher Elzy for all of their hard work and expertise. Very special thank you goes out to Anita Henry for making the hospitality room so much fun! It takes a village to get it all organized and they did an amazing job!

Our conference for 2026 will again be in the lovely city of San Marcos at the embassy suites beginning on March 28^th and continuing through noon on April 1st. Please begin making plans to attend, it will definitely be one to remember! If you know someone who has not attended that is in the property tax industry please invite them to come, we love hosting new people!

TSAA is such a close knit group, it is so special to be able to reach out to each other for encouragement and advice. If you ever need anything, please reach out to us we are more than happy to visit with you. Remember, it is always darkest before the dawn, but then God rewards us with a beautiful sunrise. Keep the faith ya’ll.
